Qualification & Requirements for Editorial Board Members

At SciencePG, we believe that our editorial board members play crucial roles in maintaining the high standard and integrity of our journals. To ensure that we have a team of competent and dedicated individuals steering the academic direction of our publications, we have certain qualifications and requirements that need to be met by potential applicants.

Our qualifications and requirements for a potential editorial board member are as follows:

A minimum of 4 years of research or professional experience in the relevant field of the applied journal.
A minimum of 5 publications on the same topic as the applied journal.
Priority will be given to applicants who hold the rank of associate professor or higher, or who occupy an equivalent position in their field.
Having relevant working experience in editorial roles or similar positions will be preferred.

By adhering to these criteria, we guarantee that our editorial board members are well-prepared to guide the direction and uphold the quality of our diverse scientific publications.

    Editorial board members are responsible for upholding and advocating SciencePG's Ethical Policies consistently, ensuring the implementation of these guidelines when necessary.

  • Confidentiality

    Editorial board members are expected to protect the confidentiality of the peer review process.

  • Assessment Criteria

    When reviewing or making the final decision on a manuscript, editorial board members should account for potential conflicts of interest, the accuracy and objectivity of research findings, the adequacy of the data and methods for replication, and the relevance of the submission to the journal's scope.

  • Guidance

    Editorial board members should collaborate with authors, reviewers, and fellow editorial board members, ensuring they are well-versed with SciencePG’s ethical and publishing policies. They should act in a fair, unbiased, and timely manner in all ethical concerns.

  • Personal Integrity

    Editorial board members should demonstrate high personal integrity in their role, actively managing scenarios where a conflict of interest may arise, or appears to be so.

  • Immediate Reporting

    Concerns about ethical issues, plagiarism, duplicate publication, permissions, and other matters of research integrity should be reported to the SciencePG editorial office immediately.
